Celtic manager Ronny Deila has been singing the praises of three of his players who featured against Kilmarnock on Monday.
The Bhoys returned to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership with a comfortable 2-0 win at Rugby Park.
Emilo Izaguirre opened the scoring for Celtic in the 36th minute, and Stefan Scepovic wrapped up the points with the second goal in the 72nd minute.
Deila was pleased with his team’s performance, especially with Liam Henderson, Izaguirre and Scepovic.
"The first half was very good," Deila told Celtic's official website. "We had a good attitude and there were good reactions in the team.
"They couldn’t keep the ball for two passes, we were all over them and created a lot of chances. We could have scored more goals but we won comfortably and it was a good answer to everybody.
"The players who came in did well, all three of them. But the attitude throughout the whole team was good. We looked fresh and quick, and especially in the first half we had good quality."
On Henderson: "He played that role when he came on in Croatia and did well. He worked hard defensively and also got forward and created things – and we want more from him."
On Izaguirre: "Full backs are capable of scoring goals. We need that and we want our full-backs to attack all the time."
On Scepovic scoring: “He needed that and you saw how happy he was – I think it’s just the start."
Celtic are now second in the Scottish Premiership with 42 points from 19 matches, just a point behind leaders Aberdeen and with a game in hand.
