Queens Park Rangers are looking to enhance their forward line in the January transfer window.
Queens Park Rangers are looking for another striker, even after completing a deal for Mauro Zarate, according to a report in the London Evening Standard.
The R's are set to officially announce the signing of Zarate, on a loan deal from West Ham United, in the near future, but they are still looking to add further quality to their attacking ranks.
The West London side have struggled for goals this season, with Charlie Austin being their only regular scorer, and Harry Redknapp has made signing attacking additions his priority.
Although QPR do not have large amounts to spend in January, Redknapp is reportedly hoping to tie up a deal for another attacker in the near future.
Jermain Defoe is amongst the front men most heavily linked with a move to Loftus Road, but Leicester City are thought to be leading the race for the experienced goal getter.
Defoe may be too expensive for many lower Premier League teams because his wage expectations seem to be high.
So far this season, QPR have only scored 22 goals in the Premier League and Redknapp clearly feels that this total needs to be improved if they are to move away from the relegation zone.
