Leeds United have been linked with making a move for Palermo midfielder Granddi N'Goyi.
Italian outlet TMW has run an exclusive claiming former France under-21 international Granddi Ngoyi could be on his way to Leeds United.
The 26-year-old holding midfielder for Palermo has been suggested as a target for Leeds, with TMW claiming that the Championship club are actively looking for players they can bring in this month.
“Leeds goes hunting for reinforcements – Eyes on Granddi Ngoyi, outgoing and looking for continuity. Ngoyi is an idea of Leeds who have been reflecting and studying the moves of the transfer market,” reports TMW.
N’Goyi would be available if Leeds could work out a loan deal with Palermo because he’s not a key player in their current setup.
He’s featured in Serie A just five times this season with all of those appearances coming as a substitute and TMW’s report suggests he’s hungry to get his teeth stuck in somewhere and make an impression.
He also plays in a position where he could offer direct protection to the likes of Jason Pearce, Liam Cooper and Giuseppe Bellusci, who have struggled at times this season.
It’s a transfer rumour to keep an eye on but he’s well suited to doing a job for Leeds in many ways.
