New Assassin's Creed Unity DLC due next week

Assassin's Creed Unity Dead Kings DLC 1

The DLC will be free to all owners of the latest assassin romp.

The Dead Kings DLC pack for Assassin's Creed Unity is coming next week, and it's free to all those who own the game.

Dead Kings is set after the events of Unity and is due to be available for Xbox One and PC on 13th January, and PS4 on 14th January. Ubisoft's description of the new content is below:

"After the events of Assassin’s Creed Unity, Arno leaves Paris for Saint Denis, a mysterious city that holds the crypts of deceased French kings. Sent on a mission to the extensive underground of the Basilica, Arno will face a faction of new foes, the Raiders, populating its catacombs. Equipped with a lantern and a new powerful weapon, the Guillotine gun, Arno will have to navigate the dangerous passageways to uncover the darkest secrets of the city."

A "fully-fledged" main single-player campaign is included in the new content, along with new open world activiites and side missions. New single-player and co-op missions will allow players to unlock new weapons and gear which are said to carry over between the main game and Dead Kings.

The Dead Kings DLC was due to be part of the Unity Season Pass, but because of the games launch problems Ubisoft announced last month that they were to give it away for free, by way of an apology.
