Michel Vorm speaks of unity in Tottenham Hotspur squad

Michel Vorm

Michel Vorm says that it does not matter who plays regularly as long as Tottenham Hotspur keep getting the results.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Michel Vorm has said that everyone in the squad is playing his part.

The Netherlands international made the comments following Spurs’ 1-1 draw with Burnley away from home in the third round of the FA Cup.

It was a rare start for Vorm, who has been the second-choice goalkeeper behind Hugo Lloris since his move to Tottenham from Swansea City in the summer transfer window.

However, the 31-year-old does not seem to have any problem with his current status and suggested so after the match to Tottenham’s official website.

Vorm’s comments are indeed very heartening for Tottenham fans and demonstrate the team spirit that manager Mauricio Pochettino has cultivated in the squad.

Spurs have a large squad and in recent weeks Pochettino appears to have finally found his best team.

This means that from now on many of the Tottenham players will have to accept their roles as squad players, but Vorm’s comments suggest that they will not create a fuss.
