A selection of the latest stories involving Tottenham Hotspur this Tuesday evening.
The Mail reports it 'won't be a problem' for the Foxes to persuade Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino to part with the defender to help with their relegation battle, as Naughton is one of a number of players the Spurs boss is reportedly willing to let go during this transfer window.
Another defender being linked with a move away from White Hart Lane is club captain Younes Kaboul, with Turkish side Besiktas reportedly interested in the Frenchman.
It would represent some turnaround if Kaboul were to end up leaving Spurs this month given he was awarded the captaincy by Pochettino in the summer. Recently he has been out of the side with the Argentine preferring the partnership of federico Fazio and Jan Vertonghen.
TalkSport cites reports in France suggesting that the 29-year-old's representatives have been approached by Besiktas.
Spurs drew 1-1 with Burnley in the FA Cup at Turf Moor last night, which has brought about an unwelcome replay at White Hart Lane for the side, as they are about to encounter a hectic fixture schedule.
However, it still leaves Spurs in the competition and Federico Fazio has told the London Evening Standard he believes the side can win both domestic cups on offer this season, with a semi-final against Sheffield United in the League Cup on the horizon.
He said: “Can we win one or two cups? It’s possible, of course. We are in the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup and we need to fight in all competitions.
“We are alive in the Europa League, too, and now we need to think about the next games in the Premier League and fight for our objectives, like qualifying for the Champions League next season."
