Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood is reportedly a candidate for the Norwich City job.
Adams resigned from his position in the aftermath of the Canaries’ 2-0 away defeat to League One outfit Preston North End in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Sherwood is not the only one in the running for the Norwich job, though, as current caretaker-manager Mike Phelan could have also been handed the role on a permanent basis.
Former Tottenham midfielder Sherwood has been without a managerial job since the end of last season when he was let go by Spurs.
Interestingly, the 45-year-old is also in the frame for the Newcastle United job, according to reports.
Premier League outfit Newcastle are looking for a full-time manager following the departure of Alan Pardew to Crystal Palace.
It seems that Sherwood is a wanted man.
