Another player has been linked with Leeds United so what do their fans need to know about him?

According to reports in Italy Leeds United are interested in Palermo midfielder Granddi N’Goyi.

Leeds manager Neil Redfearn recently went on record to suggest he was hopeful new players would arrive at Elland Road this month and now Italian website TMW claims N’Goyi is on the wanted list.

So for those Leeds fans eager to know more about the player, here are five facts to get you started:

1) Granddi N’Goyi Majundu was born in France in 1988. He began his youth career at Paris Saint-Germain in 2006 and remained at the club until 2012.

2) While in the French capital, the majority of his senior career was spent out on loan, where he played for Clermont Foot, Brest and Nantes.

3) He left PSG for Troyes in a permanent deal in 2012 and would sign for Italian club Palermo a year later, where he has made 27 appearances to date.

4) The 26-year-old is a defensive midfielder who can also operate as a centre-back if required, and this versatility could be what appeals to Leeds. He has scored four goals and provided six assists in his senior career to date.

5) N’Goyi has represented France’s under-21 side six times and their under-19 side on four occasions.
