Eriksen was bought for £12 million, yet it is estimated his value has almost trebled over the past 18 months.
The study commissioned by the CIES Football Observatory claims Eriksen is worth €36 million.
This is the exact same figure it places Mesut Ozil of Arsenal at. While Eriksen's value has been rocketing, Ozil is considered to have depreciated - he signed for Arsenal for £42 million, (€50 million).
Ozil has struggled with injuries over the past 12 months, and his form has been inconsistent that even a World Cup winner's medal did not really enhance his reputation.
Eriksen meanwhile was the top scoring midfielder in the Premier League for the calendar month of 2014, and appears to be getting better rather than standing still.
The CIES study values Lionel Messi as the world's most valuable footballer at €220 million.
