Deila praises Commons
Celtic midfielder Kris Commons has been linked heavily with a move away from the club this month.
However, after being handed a starting role by Ronny Deila last night, in Celtic's 2-0 win over Kilmarnock, the Norwegian boss's comments suggested that Commons could still have a role to play.
“Kris played very well, especially in the first half," Deila said to the Daily Record. "He worked very hard and created a lot of chances.
“He did a lot of things well and that’s what I wanted to see. If he does that he is a very important player for us."
Ambrose wanted by Premier League clubs
Celtic defender Efe Ambrose is attracting interest from Leicester City and Queens Park Rangers, according to the Sun.
The defender is known for his robust style and the two Premier League sides reportedly feel he could strengthen their back lines for the relegation fight.
Rangers want Newcastle youngster
Rangers are hoping to sign Newcastle United youngster Adam Campbell on loan, according to a report in STV.
Campbell, a spritely attacker, has previously been on loan spells with lower league sides in England, but a move north of the border now looks a possibility.
