WWE Network UK & Ireland Launch Announced

WWE Network

Finally, the WWE Network is coming to the UK and Ireland.

You may remember that back in November 2014 the UK was braced for the launch of the WWE network, only for the plug to be pulled at the last minute. UK Wrestling fans were angry and weren't afraid to show their annoyance online and at the WWE live events in the UK that week.

Some speculated at the reason for the betrayal, with the main point lying with Sky and issues regarding Pay-Per-View contracts.

But fear not as VInce McMahon himself has taken to the camera to let us know that the WWE Network will be coming to the UK and Ireland This month.

You can see what he had to say below.

WWE Network gives you access to all WWE programming including, Raw, Main Event, Smackdown, Total Divas and more. As well as the live regular programming you also get live access to all Pay Per Views. So that is basically complete up to date access to most live events (Raw & Smackdown are only available 30 days after original broadcast), which is pretty cool, but wait, it gets better. Not only do you get all of the latest programming but you also get access every pay per view since WWE began, including ECW and WCW events. There are also classic episodes of Raw, Smackdown and Nitro, exclusive programmes such as Legend's House and special Pre Show matches and commentary before and after each PPV.

The Network launched in the US for $9.99, around £6.25, but how much it will be in the UK? Well, disappointingly it will be, you guessed it £9.99 in the UK and €12.99 in Ireland. Essentially meaning we will be paying more than the US for the same product.

WWE Network will be released on Monday 19th January and will be available on Smart TV's, iPhone, iPad, Android, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Kindle Fire as well as Web App.
