With the January transfer window open, Lyon may well struggle to hold onto two highly-rated attacking stars in the form of Nabil Fekir and Alexandre Lacazette.

The pair have been make waves at the Stade de Gerland this term, firing Hubert Fournier’s men into the Ligue 1 title race.

In the trip to face Lens in the Coupe de France yesterday, both again highlighted why Premier League clubs are interested in capturing their signatures.

Lyon wont he game 3-2, with the pair shining in a fantastic opening half hour that saw the visitors 3-0 up.

As can be seen in the video below, gifted midfielder Fekir opened the scoring after five minutes, profiting from strong forward play from Lacazette.

The France international got on the scoresheet himself soon after, winning and coolly converting a penalty, before assisting Mouhamadou Dabo for Lyon’s third.

Fekir has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, with the 21-year-old’s father recently stating that the star would be interested in working with Arsene Wenger at the Gunners.

Lacezette has been a revelation this season, scoring 17 league goals in 19 games, and is said to be a real target for striker-light Liverpool.

The Reds were believed to have been weighing up a bid for the 23-year-old in the summer, and his current form will surely see his number of suitors increase now that the window is open.
