Tottenham have been linked with signing teenage winger Aidan Friggieri.
16-year-old Friggieri hails from Malta and plays for Sliema Wanderers in his homeland, where he has already made four first team appearances, scoring once.
Italian website TMW report Tottenham are 'strongly interested' in the attacker, who had a trial over the summer with Serie A side Lazio.
The report states: "Spurs are watching his development, consider him still physically immature for a English football English but is in the crosshairs of Pochettino's club."
The site describes him as 'probably the best talent of Maltese football', however that may be faint praise considering the Mediterranean island's 147th FIFA world ranking.
Friggieri played against England in for Malta's under-17 side over the summer when the nation hosted the European championships in the age group. He did not impact the game but had one goal and one assist in two subsequent matches against Holland and Turkey.
