The Welshman has admitted that West Brom 'will sit down and talk about' any offers from a 'top club,' although he also added that a sale would 'take a lot of money.'
And both Tottenham and Liverpool have been heavily linked with the 21-year-old forward in recent weeks.
“I have dealt with a lot of players who were different. I have had players turn up late and had players not turn up at times. I have had players do things that would make your hair curl," the new West Brom boss is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
“But I have dealt with it and that is what management is about. If he has, he won’t be the first boy to have problems off the pitch. Berahino is a very talented boy.
“If a top club comes in then we will sit down and talk about it. But it would take a lot of money I think.”
Pulis's very last phrase appears to be key, as he appeared less than willing to sell West Brom's star striker during an interview only a day or two ago - while the Welshman himself could prove a stumbling block for both Liverpool and Tottenham in the fact that he has leverage over his board as a newly-employed manager who can make bolder demands.
Pulis has most certainly invited both clubs to submit a bid, however, in what appears to be a slight change of tact. What exact game is he playing?
