The UK doesn't have a definitive date to receive the new PlayStation game streaming service, but the US gets it next week.

PlayStation Now is the video game streaming service being offered by Sony, and the subscription-based service launches in the US next week.

The announcement of the subscription happened today, and they also listed the pricing packages.

North America are set to receive the service on PlayStation 4 on 13th January 2015 with two subscription plans to begin with: $19.99 per month, or $44.99 for three months.

Over 100 PlayStation 3 games will be available to stream and play, with more games due to be added at later dates.

Peter Jamshidi, Director of Marketing for PlayStation Now, wrote on the PlayStation Blog today that "There’s strong value with the subscription, as you’re getting access to over a hundred great games and lots of hours of game time. What’s more, we will be adding even more games over time, so you will always have something great to play."

Eurogamer contacted Sony who said, "We have no additional information to share at this time," when asked if PlayStation Now was scheduled to release in Europe in early 2015.
