Manchester City morning news: Pellegrini on Hart return, £25m Draxler plans

A round up of news stories this morning about Manchester City.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has revealed when Joe Hart will return to the side.

Hart has missed the club’s last two games, but the Chilean has confirmed he is about to come back into the team for the game against Everton.

“Joe knows what I think about his performance. Against Everton, Joe will return because he is playing very well,” said the boss.

The Daily Star claims Manchester City are interested in doing a deal for £25 million rated German Julian Draxler.

Draxler has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal, with the Gunners failing to complete a move for him this time last year.

Schalke reportedly want to try and get Matija Nastasic moving the other way.

Pellegrini has suggested that the reason for the below par performance against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup was fatigue.

City managed to scrape their way to a 2-1 win, which seals their place in the draw for the fourth round later.

“It was our fourth game in 10 days so I think we were feeling a little bit tired and I think when you are playing a team from a different division the motivation is different,” he said.
