Ambrose on van Dijk
Celtic defender Efe Ambrose believes that Virgil van Dijk can be one of the best players in the world in the future.
The Dutch international will need to develop his game before he can claim to be amongst the world's elite, but Ambrose feels that he has all the ability to do just that.
“Virgil can be at the top," Ambrose told the Daily Record. "He hasn’t played at the top level in the World Cup or represented Holland but I believe he has the capabilities to be among the best in the world.
“He’s still young, he has age on his side and if he works hard he is going to be one of the top defenders in a few years."
Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor insists that if his side play at their best they can beat anyone in Scotland.
The Bhoys have slipped up on numerous occasions already this season, but McGregor feels that they still have more quality than any other team in the country.
“We have got to focus on what we are doing and if we are playing well and take our chances we will win the majority of our games and that’s what we need to do," he said to the club's official site.
Templeton short of confidence
Rangers boss Kenny McDowall says that David Templeton is lacking confidence currently.
The winger is amongst the Light Blues' most exciting attacking talents, but McDowall admits that he is lacking the belief to be at his best.
"He's short on a bit of confidence, but I told him to just go and express himself," McDowall said to the Scottish Evening Times. "He's a flair player. He can't be afraid to go and lose possession."
