Javier Mascherano

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho acknowledges the quality of Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi and Barcelona’s Javier Mascherano.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho is in awe of Paris Saint-Germain star Blaise Matuidi.

Matuidi is one of the best central midfielders in Europe and a regular in the PSG team.

The 27-year-old is also a regular in the France national team, and he seems to be very highly rated by Paulinho.

During an interview with Tottenham’s official website, the Brazil international said that Matuidi has the most stamina of all footballers in the world (click here to read more).

In the same interview, the 26-year-old said that, in his opinion, former Liverpool star Javier Mascherano, who is currently at Barcelona, is the best in tackling in world.

Mascherano, who can play both in defensive midfield and central defence, is one of the most underrated players in world football.

Even at the age of 30, the Argentina international remains a world-class player, and it is good to see Paulinho acknowledge his quality.
