Tottenham Hotspur-owned Tom Carroll is determined to win a trophy with Swansea City this season.
England Under-21 international Carroll is currently on a season-long loan deal at Swansea and scored his first goal for the Welsh outfit on Saturday.
The 22-year-old midfielder scored the Swans’ second goal in the 6-2 away win against Tranmere Rovers in the third round of the FA Cup.
Carroll, who overall performance on Saturday was also impressive, has said that he wants to win something at the Liberty Stadium this season.
“You've got to beat the best in order to win the trophy but to win silverware would be massive achievement for everyone,” the youngster told Swansea’s official website.
Carroll seems ambitious, but winning the FA Cup will be far from easy for Swansea. The Swans have only just reached the fourth round, and there is a long way to go.
Irrespective of Swansea’s fortunes in the FA Cup this season, it is clear that Carroll is determined to win trophies in his career. It is certainly going to go down well with the Tottenham fans.
