Tottenham Hotspur supporters take to social networking site Twitter to have their say on Tom Carroll’s performance for Swansea City against Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur-owned Tom Carroll was on fire on Saturday as he scored his first goal for his on-loan club Swansea City.

The 22-year-old midfielder scored the Swans’ second goal in their 6-2 victory over Tranmere Rovers away from home in the third round of the FA Cup.

It was a rare start for Carroll, and he made the most of it, giving an overall impressive performance to show Swansea manager Garry Monk what he is capable of.

“I've been waiting a while for my goal and I got it today, so I'm delighted," BBC Sport quotes the youngster as saying. "When you get the opportunity you've got to take it and hopefully I've done that today and showed the manager [Garry Monk] what I can do.

"That's where you get your confidence as well, getting that two, three, four games that you need to get into the flow. I've come here to play Premiership football, so I'd like to be playing in the next couple of games.

"When the opportunity came to join Swansea it was something I always wanted to do, to come here and play this style of football is great."

Tottenham fans were delighted with Carroll’s performance for Swansea and took to social networking site Twitter to have their say. Below are the best reactions.
