Schneiderlin, Pelle & Ward-Prowse react on Twitter to Southampton draw

Arsenal v Southampton 2012 Pregame with Schneiderlin

The Saints stars were disappointed with their 1-1 FA Cup stalemate against Ipswich.

It's fair to say the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin, Graziano Pelle and James Ward-Prowse weren't delighted with the news that they now face an FA Cup replay against Ipswich Town.

The South Coast side drew 1-1 with the the Tractor Boys at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon and their stars were left disappointed they couldn't seal progression at the first time of asking.

Boss Ronald Koeman led the reaction on Twitter, although he seemed even less pleased when going into more depth about the Ipswich draw during interviews.

Indeed, the Dutchman admitted a replay 'wasn't what he wanted' and was further frustrated by his side's slow start.

“We’re disappointed about the final result because that means a replay and already we have to play a lot. That wasn’t what I wanted,” Koeman told Southampton’s official YouTube channel.

“It wasn’t only the goal that made it difficult, we didn’t start the game well, we didn’t have enough concentration to start the game."

Here are the rest of Southampton players' reactions on Twitter - as they prepare for another clash against Ipswich in the coming weeks.
