Laurent Blanc comments on Tottenham Hotspur-linked Adrien Rabiot

Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has said that he wants to keep hold of midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The France Under-21 international has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

Recent reports have claimed that Premier League outfit Spurs will sign Rabiot on loan for the rest of the season.

Blanc has said that he wants to keep the 19-year-old in his team, but admits that the situation is “complicated”.

“There may be movement," Soccerway quotes the Frenchman as saying. "Purchases, loans, sales, but it's a bit too early to talk about.

"I want to keep Rabiot. He re-signed, he is part of the future. But it is a very complicated issue.”

Rabiot is a truly talented midfielder and it is understandable why PSG do not want to lose him, but perhaps a loan move could suit all parties.

The youngster is unlikely to get into the Tottenham starting line-up straightaway, but he will certainly have a better chance of doing so in the coming weeks than at PSG.
