Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has said that he wants to keep hold of midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The France Under-21 international has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
Blanc has said that he wants to keep the 19-year-old in his team, but admits that the situation is “complicated”.
“There may be movement," Soccerway quotes the Frenchman as saying. "Purchases, loans, sales, but it's a bit too early to talk about.
"I want to keep Rabiot. He re-signed, he is part of the future. But it is a very complicated issue.”
Rabiot is a truly talented midfielder and it is understandable why PSG do not want to lose him, but perhaps a loan move could suit all parties.
The youngster is unlikely to get into the Tottenham starting line-up straightaway, but he will certainly have a better chance of doing so in the coming weeks than at PSG.
