Rangers may have started 2015 with a win but supporters are still unhappy with obvious flaws within their team's performance.
The Scottish Championship side conceded early on against Dumbarton on Saturday afternoon but battled back to win 3-1, leaving them six points clear of Hibernian in second.
Rangers fans, however, were far from convinced, especially considering the edginess that surrounded the early stages of their performance.
"It was always going to be a difficult match, especially after last week," caretaker boss Kenny McDowall told Rangers TV.
"But to the boys' credit, after a shaky start, they showed good character to come back and win the game 3-1.
"Big Nish just got away from Kyle [Hutton] and he put his hands up, he knew, but it is things like that, wee bits of slackness, they have to get out of their game and do better at. But, as I said, they showed great character and I need to give them a pat on the back."
It was Lee McCulloch that left supporters irate after the game, though, and many are urging the 36-year-old Rangers veteran to simply retire.
Indeed, on Twitter after the game, plenty of Gers fans - some respectfully, others not so much - called for McCulloch to hang up his boots as, in their opinion, he simply doesn't have what it takes any longer...
Get Lee McCulloch out of our team for good. Worst ever captain. We are sick fed up of him @RangersFC— Mark Lightbody (@marklightbody1) January 3, 2015
If Lee McCulloch and Richard Forster are in defense for the Celtic game then we'll be looking at double figures.— Staunchius Pilate (@StaunchusPilate) January 3, 2015
as long as wee keep playing McCulloch in defence we're always gonna struggle as he sits to far back, and that invites teams to attack us imo— #Bethe5th (@IbroxBoy_1) January 3, 2015
McCulloch's defending is now past laughable and into non-existence.— HoHoHeart & Hand (@ibroxrocks) January 3, 2015
Ricky Foster, Stevie Smith, Lee McCulloch really?! Absolutely exasperated that they all start— Stevie (@Stevietrueblue) January 3, 2015
I honestly can't stand the fact that Lee McCulloch starts every game for us— tonyberryy72 (@tonyberryy17) January 3, 2015
