West Brom defeated Gateshead in the FA Cup yesterday, eventually getting themselves into gear after a poor opening forty minutes.
For a while it looked like Gateshead might pull off a shock. They had the better of the first half, but Berahino got West Brom going with a great strike toward the end of the first-half.
But he, and West Brom, did not stop there.
Berahino scored another three goals to collect four for the day as West Brom won 7-0 at The Hawthorns in Tony Pulis's first game as manager of The Baggies.
Berahino's goals come at a time when he is being heavily linked with moves away from the club. Both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are said to be considering potential £20 million bids for the player this January.
So what does a £20 million valued professional footballer do with his match ball after scoring four in one game. Well he gives it to his mum of course.
Berahino revealed he gave the match ball to his mother on his official Twitter account yesterday.
What a good boy.
