Yeovil Flag at Wembley playoff

Here is how Yeovil Town and Manchester United will line up for this afternoon’s FA Cup match:

Yeovil starting XI: Steer, Smith, Nugent, Arthurworrey, Twumasi, Ralph, Edwards, Foley, Dawson, Gillett, Moore

Yeovil subs: Krysiak, Berrett, Hayter, Leitch-Smith, Inniss, Eaves, Smith

United starting XI: De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, McNair, Blackett, Shaw, Fletcher, Herrera, Rooney, Wilson, Falcao

United subs: Lindegaard, Evans, Anderson, Lingard, Mata, Januzaj, Di Maria

Manchester United take on Yeovil Town in the third round of the FA Cup, with the visitors’ manager Louis van Gaal keen to avoid his second cup upset of the season.

United lost 4-0 to MK Dons in the League Cup early in van Gaal’s tenure, and he will know Huish Park will be bouncing for this encounter.

Yeovil are currently bottom of League One so this match offers welcome distraction from their recent struggles and could give them the impetus they need to move away from the relegation zone in 2015.

That said, United will want to end a disappointing run of away draws and this could be the chance for some of United’s fringe players to show van Gaal what they are capable of.
