Southampton will be looking to make a smooth passage into the fourth round of the FA Cup when they take on Ipswich Town this afternoon.

The Saints have enjoyed a remarkable season so far, and Ronald Koeman has his side sitting in fourth place in the Premier League with 36 points.

Yet now, Koeman's men must turn their attention to cup action, and the Dutchman is adamant that his side will take the game seriously.

"When I was a young kid watching the FA Cup finals in Holland, it was always a special day and maybe if I have one of the dreams, then maybe it is a dream to be in an FA Cup final," said Koeman.

However, they face high-flying Championship side Ipswich today, who are just one point behind league leaders Bournemouth.

Under the stewardship of Mick McCarthy, they'll be confident of a giantkilling today, with defender Tyrone Mings no doubt eager to claim the win having been released by Southampton at 16.
