Arsenal player ratings v Hull; Sanchez dazzles again, Campbell struggles

We assess the performances of Arsenal's players against Hull City today.

David Ospina 6 - claimed crosses well and made a few comfortable saves. Solid enough, without really impressing.

Hector Bellerin 7 - good pace to get forward and support the attack, caused problems for the Hull defence. Could still improve his end product but another promising display.

Calum Chambers 6 - solid, dealt with the more physically imposing Sagbo well, showed a good reading of the game too.

Per Mertesacker 7 - has had a tough few weeks but bounced back with the opening goal, a towering header from a corner kick. Decent defensively but rarely troubled in behind, where his recent struggles have stemmed.

Nacho Monreal 6 - like most of the defence, Monreal was solid but wasn't really tested. Offered support up the left hand side and broke up play well.

Francis Coquelin 6 - lucky not to be sent off for a ridiculous lunge, but offered bite to the midfield again. Passing was a little hit and miss, but serves a purpose in front of the Arsenal defence.

Tomas Rosicky 7 - had a couple of impressive driving runs forward. Has made an impressive return to the starting line-up in recent weeks and continued good form here.

Santi Cazorla 8 - another great display from Cazorla, who has hit a real purple patch in recent weeks. Superb creativity and vision to supply the likes of Sanchez and Walcott.

Theo Walcott 5 - this may seem harsh, but Walcott failed to impress. That's totally understandable though. This was a game to help build up his fitness levels, and whilst he should have scored after being played through on goal, he'll be content with his run out.

Joel Campbell 5 - should've scored early on, and tried to get involved but too often made the wrong decision or things just didn't come off for him.

Alexis Sanchez 9 - outstanding again, Sanchez continues to prove that he's one of the best players in England right now. Bright, inventive and capped off with a superb goal, Hull just couldn't cope with the Chilean.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 6 - had a couple of impressive runs forward in a 15 minute cameo.

Chuba Akpom and Ainsley Maitland-Niles also came on, but combined for just two touches.
