Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have all shown interest in Hajduk Split midfielder Tino-Sven Susic.

Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in signing Tino-Sven Susic, according to the Hajduk Split striker’s agent.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has been strongly linked with a move away from Hajduk in the January transfer window, with a number of clubs interested in his services.

Susic’s agent, Sabatino Durante, has now revealed the names of the teams who are after his client’s signature.

However, Durante insists that it is Italian club Inter Milan who Susic wants to play for.

“Chelsea and Arsenal are interested, but there are offers from Bordeaux and from Sevilla,” Durante told FCInterNews, according to Football Italia. “The latter team is creating a lot of complications because their offer is advantageous to the club.

“But as far as we're concerned we want to close the deal with Inter. We just have to find a conclusion and I think that in the first days of next week we'll put ink to paper…

“Teams like Tottenham made a move for him too, who with [technical director Franco] Baldini made an offer. But with the turnovers on their bench, nothing happened, even though we came very close to an agreement.”

It seems that Tottenham have been rebuffed in their approach, and their London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea are likely to meet with the same fate if they make a formal offer.

Perhaps it is good for Spurs. The North London club do not exactly need another young midfielder, and given that the youngster is bent on joining Inter, it would be best if Tottenham do not pursue the matter any more.
