Forget Eden Hazard, Nacer Chadli was the best Belgian when Tottenham played Chelsea, wrote a Belgian newspaper.
Tottenham's clash with Chelsea had plenty of interest overseas in Belgium.
It pitched Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard up against Jan Vertonghen, Nacer Chadli and Mousa Dembele.
Spurs came out as 5-3 winners, rattling Chelsea's title charge and pushed their own top four chances in the right direction in the process.
While Hazard opened the scoring for the away side, one Belgian newspaper was in no doubt as to who the star was.
Nieuwsblade: "The Belgian of the evening was undoubtedly Nacer Chadli. With his first goal since his injury in November he scored in the 77th minute to make it 5-2 on the scoreboard.
"The goal was the high point of his unmatched game, almost every action he was dangerous."
Chadli scored on and provided one assist, despite making only eight passes in the final third of the pitch.
He now has seven league goals and four assists this season in the Premier League, which compares almosr equally to Hazard's eight goals and four assists.
