The Wolverhampton Wanderers striker missed an open goal from two yards out!
At one stage this season, it was no exaggeration to suggest a large portion of supporters felt their side were better with 10 men than when starting with the striker.
And now, after Fulham's 0-0 FA Cup draw with Wolves, Clarke has showcased his talents to two sets of fans - with a toothless display in front of goal that saw him miss an open goal from two yards out.
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett tried his best to defend the striker but even he would have surely been bitterly disappointed in the forward behind closed doors:
"I thought we played well, it was a very good performance. Their keeper made some excellent saves. We'd all have loved Leon Clarke to have scored but it came at him very quickly off the post."
And Fulham manager Kit Symons summed up the bore FA Cup draw rather concisely.
"Our decision making and quality in the final third wasn't quite there today. You can see with the team we put out today we took it very seriously."
Needless to say, both Fulham and Wolves fans had plenty of opinion on Clarke's performance on Twitter after the game...
