Italian club Cagliari have reportedly joined the race for Sassuolo striker Leonardo Pavoletti.
Pavoletti has struggled for playing time so far this season, and there have been reports in Italy claiming that the 26-year-old could leave Sassuolo in the January transfer window.
Leeds United have long been credited with an interest in the Italian striker, but they can sign him only on loan due to a transfer embargo.
Interestingly, Cagliari was formerly owned by Massimo Cellino, who is the current president of Leeds.
It seems that an interesting tussle between Cagliari and Leeds lie in wait.
