The latest transfer talk you need to know...

No laughing Mata

Manchester United are being linked with several players this winter. But while many could come in there is also plenty of players being linked with an exit from Old Trafford.

One such player is Juan Mata. The Spanish international looked like struggling to get into Louis van Gaal's plans earlier in the season, which pricked the attention of Italian side Juventus.

They reportedly sent a delegation to England this week in order to tempt United into a move for Mata this January. However he has recently earned a place back in the United team and has been in great form so reports from Italy today have made it clear that Mata is not for sale at any price.

Keiren happy to stay

Liverpool are said to be looking into a deal for a new goalkeeper in the winter. Simon Mignolet has not been in great form this season and Brad Jones is not exactly inspiring either. They are said to be looking into a deal for Sheffield Wednesday stopper Keiren Westwood - who has been in sensational form for The Owls since arriving from Sunderland in the summer.

But he is set to reject any approach from the club as he wants to return the favour to Wednesday who put their faith in him this summer:

"They gave me the chance to kick-start my career again, and I'm really happy to be here."

Mark the Fox

Leicester City have signed Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer on a free transfer. The Australian, 42, has become third-choice stopper at Chelsea since the return of Thibaut Courtois from his loan spell at Atletico Madrid.

He has joined The Foxes on an 18-month deal and will cover for the absence of the injured Kasper Schmeichel.

Pony up for Bony

Manchester City have been linked with Wilfried Bony in recent weeks, but they may have a rival for the Swansea City striker. Real Madrid are now rumoured to be keen on a move for the player.

They are after the player with a view to strengthening their striking department.

Poldi bye-bye

Finally and Lukas Podolski looks set to depart Arsenal. The German World Cup winner flew to Milan this evening to complete a move to Internazionale after becoming fed up with the lack of first-team action he was receiving with The Gunners.
