Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli has said that he is happy with his current form.
The 25-year-old Belgium international has scored seven goals and created 23 chances in 17 Premier League appearances so far this season, while having a pass accuracy of 83% and a shot accuracy of 60%.
Chadli, who joined Tottenham from FC Twente in the summer of 2013, struggled last season, but this term he has established himself as a key player in Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
The Belgium was in fine form against Chelsea on New Year’s Day, as Tottenham got the better of their London rivals 5-3 at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
“I want to show the best of myself. I feel great and I’m just happy to help us win games. I just try to do my best and the most important thing is three points.”
Chadli can indeed be happy with the way he has played so far this season and has grasped the ideas of Pochettino.
The Belgian is now one of the first names on the teamsheet and is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future.
However, given the number of attacking players Tottenham have, Chadli cannot get complacent and needs to maintain his current run of good form.
