Leeds United have been linked with signing some top quality players over the past week.
Leeds United’s transfer embargo makes January very difficult for Neil Redfearn in terms of the players he can attract to the club.
Leeds can’t pay a fee for a player, which rules out some high profile arrivals, but there is still space for new faces to arrive on loan before potential permanent deals in the summer.
Here are five players linked with signing for Leeds United.
Rene Khrin (Inter Milan)
The Inter midfielder has been linked with arriving on a loan deal, should Rodolph Austin exit the club.
Leonardo Pavoletti (Sassuolo)
Redfearn has been open in his admissions that the forward could end up at the club. Leeds have been tipped to make a move to sign him permanently after a loan.
Danny Ward (Huddersfield Town)
Ward would be a good experienced football league option for Leeds. However, the problem would be getting their local rivals to agree to a loan move.
Emiliano Sala (Bordeaux)
A reported target identified to come in and sure up a defence, which has looked unstable at times this season.
