Newcastle United supporters take to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the 3-3 draw with Burnley at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on New Year’s Day.

Newcastle United played out a 3-3 draw with Burnley at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on New Year’s Day.

The Magpies headed into the game as favourites, but they had to settle for a point as it ended in a 3-3 draw.

Steven Taylor put Newcastle in front on 15 minutes, but just four minutes a Paul Dummett own goal made it 1-1.

Jack Colback fired the hosts back ahead in the 26th minute, only for Danny Ings to restore parity midway through the second half.

Newcastle took the lead for the third time in the game on 78 minutes through Moussa Sissoko, but Burnley picked up a deserved point when George Boyd equalised.
