The latest Manchester United transfer news, views and rumours.
Barcelona defender Dani Alves insists the problem of leaving the right-back slot 'bare' is not his own, as speculation continues to link him with a move to Manchester United.
The Brazilian's contract at the Catalan club expires at the end of the season - and he has not ruled out a move away from Barcelona.
The right-back, however, says he will not be discussing a move with anyone in the near future, although the summer is a different prospect.
"I'm not interested in negotiating a move now," Alves told a television show, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
"First I will finish my contract and then we will see what happens. The problem of leaving bare the right-back slot is not mine, it is Barcelona's.
"They have not offered me a renewal."
Season ticket prices
Meanwhile, Manchester United have frozen their season ticket prices for next season.
An announcement on the club's official website reads: "Manchester United would like to wish its Season Ticket holders a Happy New Year on behalf of the Manager, players and staff. The support for the team has been fantastic at Old Trafford so far this season.
"The Club is delighted to announce that Season Ticket prices have been frozen for the 2015/16 season. This represents the fourth consecutive season, and the fifth time in six years, that prices have been held."
