Harry Kane is Tottenham's shining light right now. A star performer and cult hero.
But things could have turned out very differently for the 21-year-old.
That ultimately started the striker on the path that has now led him to being one of White Hart Lane's best players.
Against Chelsea yesterday, Kane looked menacing. His goals, passing, movement, ability to beat his man and so much more made him look world class - even if just for the day at Tottenham.
The likelihood, though, is that it wasn't just for the day. Kane looks superb for Spurs right now and seems to be improving week on week. Could Arsenal have seen a much different trajectory with the 21-year-old in their ranks?
Arsene Wenger is famous for working with young talent but look at how many young players Arsenal end up importing. When it comes to strikers, no one comes to mind of Premier League class when it comes to their youth.
Imagine, then, if Kane's Arsenal career took a different turn even in the slightest direction. A goal here or a run there and the eight-year-old striker might have been plying his trade across the border at north London for years.
The Gunners' loss, however, is very much Tottenham's gain - and there is no telling where the limit is for Kane at the Lane.
