Tottenham Hotspur left former chairman Lord Sugar with egg on his face after the 5-3 win against Chelsea yesterday.
Sugar was not optimistic after the way Spurs started the London derby against Chelsea at White Hart Lane, quickly going behind which caused the ex-Spurs chief to suggest that a battering was on the way.
However, Tottenham reacted superbly to going behind and kept their heads up, maintained their belief and made the most of the chances which fell their way.
A brace from Harry Kane along with goals from Danny Rose, Andros Townsend and Nacer Chadli was enough to cancel out the three efforts that Chelsea were able to put past Hugo Lloris.
Spurs cashed in on a day where their main rivals for the top four, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham United, all dropped points, which allowed them to improve their own position.
Spurs now break from the league for their FA Cup game against Burnley.
