James Forrest, Mikael Lustig, Jason Denayer and Beram Kayal could all miss out during Celtic's next league clash against Kilmarnock, according to the Glasgow Evening Times.
The quartet are making their way back to fitness and might have played some part for Celtic against Partick Thistle yesterday.
However, the postponement of that game means their next chance to feature for Ronny Deila's side comes at Kilmarnock. Their artificial pitch makes that more risky, though.
That means Deila may delay the quartet's comebacks, despite Celtic losing top spot to Aberdeen yesterday.
Deila is quoted as saying by the Glasgow Evening Times: "We want to be top of the table all the time. But we can't do anything about our opponents. The only thing we can do is focus on our performances and take the points we need."
As such, the Norwegian may not risk the likes of Forrest, Lustig, Denayer and Kayal against Kilmarnock.
Celtic are now a point behind Aberdeen in the SPL table but have a game in hand after their clash with Partick Thistle was postponed due to poor weather conditions.
