Two Juventus stars as well as youngsters at MK Dons, Southampton and Liverpool all feature.
Last night it was first rumoured that Steven Gerrard would be confirming his exit from Liverpool at the end of the season. But unlike the New Years honours for Jonny Wilkinson this rumour proved to be true.
Gerrard will therefore be on his way out of his beloved Liverpool at the end of the season and Brendan Rodgers has admitted he is 'irreplaceable' this morning.
But replace him they must?
So who is up to the task, here are five potential options...
This is a name already doing the rounds among the press. The former Manchester United youngster has been linked with an exit from Juventus for a while now.
Valued by some at the £100 million mark he is certainly talented enough to do his best to replace Gerrard, but Liverpool would struggle to afford him.
One for the future who is shining for League One side MK Dons. The teenager has been dubbed the 'next Steven Gerrard' and Liverpool are known to have scouted him. He would not be able to immediately replace Gerrard, but in time could be perfect.
Another big name from Juventus. He has struggled this season because of a lingering knee injury and Manchester United are also keen.
But his style of play is reminiscent of Gerrard and he is said to be open to an exit.
Could Liverpool raid Southampton again? The young midfielder is a set-piece expert and in recent weeks has been superb for Southampton.
Surely a future England international that Liverpool would do well to snap up now.
Or can Liverpool recreate their very own Gerrard?
The talented teenager is only 17-years-old but he scored on his debut for the club against Middlesbrough in the League Cup back in September.
An adept passer with an eye for goal, not to mention a local lad ... sound familiar?
