Tottenham players were ecstatic after beating Chelsea 5-3 at White Hart Lane on New Year's Day.
Tottenham players took to Twitter after beating Chelsea 5-3 in a remarkable encounter at White Hart Lane.
It will go down as one of the best performances of the Mauricio Pochettino era, as whilst Diego Costa put Chelsea ahead, Spurs recovered to score three quickfire goals before half-time, with Harry Kane, Danny Rose and Andros Townsend putting Tottenham 3-1 up at the break.
Kane made it four in the second half, only for Eden Hazard to bring Chelsea back in to the game, making it 4-2 from a Federico Fazio error.
Nacer Chadli then wrapped the game up at 5-2, and whilst John Terry's late goal gave Chelsea very minor hope, Tottenham came away with a huge three points.
The star of the show was clearly striker Kane, who hit two goals and one assist as well as winning the penalty for Townsend's goal.
Players were ecstatic to kick off 2015 with a win, whilst recent signing DeAndre Yedlin even commented at the game having been at White Hart Lane to watch his new team mates defeat one of their London rivals.
