Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli is delighted with his side’s performance against Chelsea at White Hart Lane.
Spurs got the better of their London rivals 5-3 in the Premier League clash on Thursday, with Chadli among the goalscorers.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side conceded the first goal of the match, but staged a sensational comeback to wrap up the three points.
"It was nice to score a lot of goals tonight against the Premier League leaders,” Chadli told BBC Radio 5 live. “We hadn't won against any of the top four before today, but we deserved to win this game.
"It's one of our best performances this season. We showed a great attitude and that's what everyone wants to see. We've shown signs of improvement and we have to keep that going.
"The players know each other better and that's showing in our performances. Now we have to keep our balance. It's one of the sweetest evenings of my career.”
The win has lifted Tottenham up to fifth in the Premier League table with 34 points from 20 matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Southampton.
