Ben Davies looks ahead to today's Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies is confident that his side can defeat Chelsea today.

Spurs will take on their London rivals at White Hart Lane in the Premier League and will be looking to return to winning ways.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions and will head into today’s clash on the back of a goalless draw with Manchester United.

Tottenham’s performance against the Red Devils at White Hart Lane on Sunday was not exactly great, but Davies believes that they can take positives from that display and use them against Chelsea.

Davies, who joined Spurs from Swansea City in the summer transfer window, says that they need to play with the same spirit and determination that they showed against United.

“It’s not going to be an easy game one bit, but we’ve got to have the same mentality that we had on Sunday,” Tottenham’s official website quotes the Wales international as saying. “We need to have the same work ethic and if we can do that, then who knows what can happen?

“We may have to bide our time and weather any storms that come from them during the course of the match, but every team gets patches in a game and when ours come, it’s up to us to get the goals.”

Tottenham will head into today’s rounds of matches in the Premier League placed seventh in the table with 31 points from 19 matches, while Chelsea are three points clear at the top of the standings.
