Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has hit out at media claims that he stormed out of Wednesday’s training session.
The Mirror reported that the Germany international “pulled out of practice claiming a groin injury and has not travelled for New Year's Day game” against Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium.
The report added that “the 29-year-old forward was furious because his future is uncertain”, and that ‘he fears Arsenal are blocking a potential move to Inter Milan.”
Podolski has now given his side of the story and insists that he remains committed to Arsenal.
Podolski has struggled for playing time so far this season and has made only seven appearances in the Premier League, creating two chances in the process.
