It has been a mixed year for Swansea, but the South Wales side have had some moments to forget in 2014.
Swansea will finish 2014 in the middle of the Premier League table, which is no mean feat given that the club were in League One as recently as 2008.
While there have been some impressive wins and some nights to savour at the Liberty Stadium, 2014 has also brought its fair share of disappointments.
We round up some of the results from 2014 that Swansea fans would probably like to forget.
West Ham 2-0 Swansea (February 1, 2014)
This defeat brought about the end of Michael Laudrup's reign on the Swansea bench as Kevin Nolan bagged a brace to secure all three points for the Hammers. Things looked bleak for Swansea, who risked being sucked into the relegation zone, but the departure of Laudrup was a shock and reports he was dismissed by email caused anger.
Napoli 3-1 Swansea (February 27, 2014)
Swansea's European dream ended at the Stadio San Paolo, leaving fans to wonder what might have been. The first leg at the Liberty Stadium ended 0-0 but Swansea probably should have taken a lead to Naples where they were undone by two goals in the last 12 minutes. It had looked like a famous scalp was on the cards, but Gonzalo Higuain and Gokhan Inler struck back.
Liverpool 4-1 Swansea (December 29, 2014)
Swansea ended the year with a whimper being taken to pieces by a surprisingly dangerous Liverpool at Anfield. The result allowed Liverpool to leapfrog the Swans in the table. Adam Lallana did the damage with two goals, but Jonjo Shelvey scored an embarrassing own goal against his former club.
