Leeds United have not had much to sing about this year. Massimo Cellino has not exactly been the dream owner they hoped for when he first emerged on the scene in January, amid protests. Meanwhile results have not been doing so well on the pitch and the club have gone through four managers before settling on Neil Redfearn - who was the fans first-choice.
But there have been a few positives.
There was the 5-1 win against Huddersfield Town which came after the Transfer Deadline day debacle, with Ross McCormack scoring a hat-trick.
More recently they have pulled off the odd incredible performance to beat high flying Championship sides. There was the 3-1 win at Bournemouth back in September while their last victory was against Derby County - a 2-0 triumph.
Some of the summer signings have really impressed fans, even if results have not been going their way. The likes of Mirco Antenucci and Marco Silvestri certainly look up to scratch.
Then there is the promise of the future generation. The performances of Lewis Cook and Alex Mowatt have perhaps been the biggest positive of the year and offer some hope going into the new year.
