We take a look at the best memories for Burnley fans from a dramatic 2014.
It has been a fantastic year for Burnley fans who have seen their side win promotion from the Championship and demonstrate their desire to fight to remain there.
In this piece we take a look at some of the best moments of 2014 for Burnley.
Burnley 2-0 Doncaster (25 March 2014)
Burnley moved to 16 games unbeaten with a comfortable win over a Doncaster side that had been on good form. It was Sean Dyche's men's eighth win in 10 league matches and moved them 10 points clear of third-placed QPR. Even the more pessimistic fans at Turf Moor really started to believe the Premier League was beckoning...
Burnley 2-0 Wigan Athletic (21 April 2014)
A momentous day at Turf Moor as Burnley secured their place in the Premier League. Ashley Barnes gave the hosts the lead and Michael Kightly doubled the advantage as the Clarets secured an assailable lead on third place amidst scenes of jubilation.
Burnley 0-0 Manchester United (30 August 2014)
Burnley picked up their first point of the Premier League season and could hardly have done so against more illustrious opponents. Manchester United unleashed £59.7m British record buy Angel Di Maria, but Louis van Gaal's miserable start to life with the Red Devils continued with a humbling draw against the newcomers. The closest United came was when Robin van Persie's shot was cleared off the line by Dean Marney.
Manchester City 2-2 Burnley (28 December 2014)
The Clarets proved beyond any doubt that they will fight tooth and nail to maintain their Premier League status, battling back improbably from 2-0 down to grab a 2-2 draw at Manchester City. The game had looked dead when Fernandinho added to David Silva's opener for the reigning champions, but George Boyd netted from a seemingly offside position and Ashley Barnes blasted home a loose ball with nine minutes remaining to secure a heroic draw.
