Berahino has been linked with a move away from the Hawthorns, with Liverpool and Tottenham the two clubs mentioned most.
Both clubs are in the market for a striker, with Berahino's name being mentioned a lot after an impressive start to the season saw him called up the England national squad after finding the net in the Premier League, on seven occasions.
Though his form has tailed off in recent months, figures of around £20 - £25 million have bandied about for the 21-year-old but according to TalkSport, the fee could be significantly less.
Their report indicates the promising forward could be available for around £14 million, and are suggesting it could be because Berahino will force a move away from the Hawthorns.
This report strikes a different tone to West Brom's twitter account who posted yesterday that any talk of a £23 million deal between them and Liverpool for the forward was a 'complete fabrication,' but there was no mention of the links with Tottenham.
There is also the added complication of Tony Pulis about to replace Alan Irvine as Head Coach at The Hawthorns, and if previous appointments at other clubs are anything to go by, Pulis is likely to have talks to at least persuade Berahino to stay at the club, until the end of the season at the very least as he gets to grips with matters in the West Midlands.
It looks as though it's going to be one of those transfers that will run and run in January. Tottenham are reportedly set to make a move when the window opens, with Liverpool aiming to hijack it, with both sides certainly two that could do with strengthening when it comes to firepower in front of goal.
