United transfer news: Target ‘very happy’ after €25m move; Bale going nowhere

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United

Reported Manchester United target Enzo Perez has agreed a move to Valencia in a package worth an alleged €25million.

The Argentina international had been at Benfica, where he impressed week in, week out and is said to have attracted interest from Old Trafford.

However, the latest reports claim a deal has been done and the player himself told Super Deporte, “I am very happy to come to Valencia.”

In other news, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been talking following claims United are ready to offer £110million for Gareth Bale.

In comments published by Goal.com, Perez said, “We have not received any offer from Manchester United or any other club for Gareth Bale.

“What’s more, we would never listen to any offers for Bale, whatever the amount.”

In truth the United rumours make little sense now, with Angel Di Maria at the club and reinforcements needed in midfield and defence rather than in more attacking areas.
