New Years Day will see plenty of hangovers all over the country but also a full set of Premier League fixtures.
It’s an opportunity for teams at the top and bottom of the Premier League to improve their positions and to get some momentum over the early period of 2015, looking ahead to an important second half of the campaign.
Chelsea go into 2015 as the side at the top of the table, while Crystal Palace, Burnley and Leicester would all be relegated down to the Championship if the season ended as things stand.
Manchester United and Southampton hold third and fourth places, with the former searching for a win after back-to-back draws.
